Kathy Roth, LCSW: About

My Journey

I have over a decade of clinical experience in working with women, children, and families in the areas of violence against women, women's issues, child welfare, adoption, and mental health. I began her career by providing counseling, support, and legal advocacy services to women survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual violence. I transitioned to providing home-based counseling services to families and children at risk for child abuse/neglect or involved with child welfare, with a specialty in working with families impacted by domestic violence. I continued my career in the adoption field at a national, non-profit, open adoption agency working as a counselor and coordinator with birth mothers as well as adoptive parents at various stages of the process. In these positions, I facilitated educational workshops and seminars, support groups, options counseling services, and home study services.

I have been providing therapeutic services in a private practice setting to women and families since 2014 and continue to do so today. I am eager to share my passion and expertise with others in the women's issues, child welfare, and adoption community.
