  • Evan Donaldson Institute - Non profit organization with mission to better the lives of everyone touched by adoption through sound research, education and advocacy that improves laws, policies, and practices.   • National Council for Adoption - Non-profit organization with mission to meet the diverse needs of children, birth parents, adopted individuals, adoptive families, and all those touched by adoption through global advocacy, education, research, legislative action, and collaboration.   • North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC) - Non-profit organization who supports, educates, inspires, and advocates so adoptive families thrive and every child in foster care has a permanent, safe, loving family.   • Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption - The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is the only public nonprofit charity in the United States that is focused exclusively on foster care adoption. https://www.davethomasfoundation.org

  • Florida FAPA – This organization has a vision to create a Florida where children thrive because their foster and adoptive parents are fully empowered and recognized as expert partners in developing healthy families.   • Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAARTA) – A not-for-profit organization with a membership of fewer than 400 professionals throughout the U.S. and Canada and has a number of committees dedicated to the improvement of adoption law and its ethical practice. Members of this organization are experts in the field of adoption law, interstate adoption, and international regulations, and have been invited to join the academy based on meeting specific standards regarding their experience in adoption law.   • Foster-Care Adoption Resources Florida Department of Children & Families – Explore Adoption - Florida's adoption initiative aimed at promoting the benefits of public adoption. Explore Adoption urges families to consider creating or expanding their families by adopting a child who is older, has special needs, or is a part of a sibling group. Through public education, expanded partnerships and social media, Explore Adoption invites Floridians to learn more about the children immediately available for adoption in their home state and community. www.adoptflorida.org

  • Adopt US Kids – A national project working to ensure that children and teens in foster care get safe, loving, permanent families. Adopt US Kids educates families about foster care and adoption and gives child welfare professionals information and support to help them improve their services.   • HAGUE Accredited/Approved Agencies/Persons - A list of current Accredited/Approved Adoption Services Provider.
